Basel in Bangkok is set to take place on May 3 to 15 at the Atrium of The Peninsula Plaza. Thailand Floods
Damages from floods in Thailand are catastrophic. After cities to the north of Bangkok were hit by devastating floods in early and mid October 2011, the water masses converged on the capital and caused further damages and suffering in densely populated communities around and inside Bangkok. Millions of people were affected. The National Economic and Social Development Board estimated that the economic cost of the crisis may reach US$ 7 billion.
