Typical Scope of International Limited Warranties

As a rule, products manufactured by international brands come with an International Limited Warranty. Such a warranty is valid only for products that have been purchased from an authorized dealer. The list of authorized dealers is generally shown on websites of international brands, or in documentation accompanying the product.

An International Limited Warranty is valid only if a Warranty Card is presented that has been properly completed, dated and signed by an authorized dealer who sold the product to the customer.

International Limited Warranties cover manufacturing defects for a specified period of time. Under warranty, a manufacturer may, at their discretion, either replace or repair a product.

Damages caused by accidents, carelessness, faulty parts or batteries, or because of unauthorized modifications are excluded from warranty, as is the length of a battery’s life.

Our Policy in re International Limited Warranties

As authorized agent, BAECHTOLD LIMITED accept to administer in our territory International Limited Warranties of manufacturers we represent. We service such products under warranty to the best of our capacities provided the manufacturer concerned provides us full support under the International Limited Warranties issued by them. In all circumstances, the product and service liabilities remain the manufacturer’s issuing the International Limited Warranty, and are not BAECHTOLD LIMITED’S.

Manufacturers may change the terms of their International Limited Warranties from time to time. Baechtold Limited is not obliged to communicate such changes and it is the customer’s obligation to check such policies from the manufacturers’ websites or documentation.
